Maybe it was the headsets I had or something... Previously I used the Sennheiser hd280

Makes sense the older 280 is super narrow sounding like no sound stage.

It's not even like the sound stage.

It's like.. the snowball is flat or muted; sounds kinda like a higher quality razer gaming headset mic if that makes sense.

Idk... Getting rid of it now.

Hopefully someone will be happy to get it for like $10~.

It was 40$ 6 years ago. MSRP brought it to 50 or 60 now.

Easy mic.

It's not the soundstage that made the difference if I were to declare.

"BenQ Screenlamp Plus" rests on top of monitor to illuminate my desk without taking up space:

And a tiny acrylic keyboard switch work bench, grease & oil, tiny tools, and a quick release switch tool.  I was thinking i might lube the switches and experiment with different springs.  But man these parts are tiny!  I'm new to working with hotswap switches and taking them apart.  It is fun, reminds me of playing with LEGO.

@AluminiumTechhas gifted me 15 Bucks on Steam to make up for the KZ Zex Pro because I didn't like them and with 7 Bucks out of my Pocket I bought:

For 7 Bucks this is a good deal. Another one of those EOL Games added to my collection, nice.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

Now I gotta figure out how tf to update my bios to use Ryzen 50000 without bricking my motherboard ...

Then I have to consider if I should make a spiritual successor to that famous video game I worked on this one time

Genuinely surprised about these. I'm an audipohile, but I like practicality as well so Bluetooth is sometimes just a good idea.

Wanted a pair of BT headphones that weren't earbuds as my ears are weird and it's always a hassle (although I used my JBL TWS120 for years).
Didn't want to overspend, so started reading up on reviews, listening to some headphones in stores, finding that everything cheap just sounded horrid.
Either incredibly harsh and boomy, or completely muddy and lacking any sort of transparency.
Then I found some reviews on these and I kept noticing that people say they sound pretty flat, never hyped. Found a cheap pair in an opened box and gave them a shot.
And my goodness, they are not bad. They remind me of AKG's cheaper wired offerings (35-40usd price range) like the K52. Nothing extremely exciting, but generally really pleasant. The highs are calm and still quite transparent, midrange and stereo imaging are actually really good. Never agressive, never muddy or hollow. And the low end is nice and round, with plenty of pressure but not too much boom. It doesn't go super deep, but what is there, is good. I generally do not like Sennheiser's sound signature at all (hiss booommm, even the 600+ usd ones) so this was a pleasant surprise. The ones I do like are the HD25 and these do remind me of them somewhat.
Only after using them for a few hours I realised they come with an App. Installed it, and that immediately completely ruined the sound. Even at its 'neutral' setting it's agressive and boomy. This is the setting at which they sound most neutral:

telegram-cloud-photo-size-4-5872812837896829451-y_partial.jpg.ea614afb81a1be16984095013462ab8e.jpg

Yet, as soon as I uninstalled the app, everything was back to normal, phew.
Great pair of cheap bluetooth cans for people who don't fall for the hyped sound of beats and skull candy, and who actually want to hear some refinement in their music, which is a tough call at this price range.
Long battery life (25h), no noise cancelling bullshit, easy pairing. Other than play/pause and volume there's nothing. They are also pretty comfy for on-ears.
Best 30 bucks I spent this December :D.
