Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

Ventoy my friend, Ventoy. I use one super high speed 128GB USB SSD thumb drive for all my OS ISO's now instead of a keyring full of them one for each OS ISO and drives of varying speeds and quality.

Also, nabbed an i5 4570 for the shop PC for $15 shipped, ~50% faster than the i3 4150 in there now.

Well I like to have my OSs installed to 50 pen drives so I can test OS on them 😉

Well give it a go, its really handy!

Omg I did not know that.

So basically with this tool I can make multiple bootable installation OS?

I mean I can make for ex 10 different bootable OS systems on just one pen drive?

Seems so.

Damn, where were you 5 years ago?

I spent like probably 200-300 euros for pen drives.

Yes, that's exactly what it does 😂 I only discovered it earlier this year but let me tell you, having a single 300MB/S USB drive with all the bootables on it is so much easier. I think you can even put a separate partition on it after it's been created, where you can hold all your driver's or benchmark installers or even write to from the booted machine. I need to fully explore that later.

I have 3rd party Win OSs..will they work with this sw?
I  mean those are custom made Win 10 installations.

OMG, who  made this is a genius.

Should I use fast USB pen drive for this job any benefit when installing Windows from faster usb pen drive compared to like regular any usb 3.0 pen drive?

But I need some iso to boot in MBR mode for older laptops...does it support MBR too?

I suppose can not mix uefi with mbr so use 2 separate pen  drives, one for mbr other for uefi, correct?

Should work with any ISO, not sure about EFI and BIOS but I think it can do both? Read up on the website!

I have ventoy in GPT/secure boot/exfat mode and it works just fine on bios-only mid-2000s systems.

A Linkup PCIe Gen4 x16 right-angled riser cable for my MERC 310 RX 7900 XTX

spacer.png

The vertical/Angled bracket or mount that I'd ordered came as well, I'll have quite a lot of stuff to collect from my friend when I get back home...not using the riser cable which came with this mount, firstly it's Gen3 x16, and secondly, I've been told such cable would get all sorts of error when used (which is why I'd gotten the riser cable in pic on top)

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

Didn't ever consider a backpack, but work is sending me to training in another city and I was tired of using a laptop bag for all my tech stuff I take with me. It'll be a huge upgrade in that regard. My laptop bag was way overstuffed to where it was ballooning out with various chargers and devices.

Hopefully it' somewhere with nice weather!

I bought an inches of water vacuum gauge and a SA-7 (barrel, bare end, 3/4 inch dia) double cut carbide burr. Both are 'for work' but really I wanted them for some home game stuff. Need the bigass burr to make a nice cutout in some steel stock to fit a socket around a nut for the alt support bracket on the Celica to make it more like OE with the non OE intake manifold. Inches of water vacuum gauge WILL get used for work, I'm bumping into PCV and Evap stuff that are speccing inches of water measurements so I can huck a tube off the back of this and T into stuff and check that things are or aren't working and be more sure. I can also measure smaller vacuum readings at home for all kinds of stuff like different intake configurations to see how they affect manifold vacuum at full throttle or before the throttle plate vacuum....just for geeky fun. I suppose the bigass burr will get used for cleaning up stuff at work too.

Bit whiney but at 380 euro shipped that's nearly half of what a new one costs here.

Picked up a like new set of HD599s today at CEX for 72 quid.  They'll be my main shooters replacing my knackered old well loved HD579s I bought from eBay just over a year ago.

PXL_20230119_112758024.thumb.jpg.8ba1ccb1b4e13e83e14b5ac79b21ed4b.jpg

The main lead hasn't been opened and it included the 3.5mm TRS phone lead and then 6.5 to 3.5 adapter they all come with.  My guess is the previous owner couldn't get on with them on their phone.  One person's loss and all that though

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!
