At some point, sure.

I just need to figure out how to do it without giving away too much of my location.

My living room is pretty much all windows and you can see some pretty distinct landmarks out of them.

Until then, here's a picture of the part of the collection that I've yet to digitize:

-photo snip-

That's roughly 350 LPs, 30 7" records and 4 10" records.

Edit: I also have an Instagram page where I show off my records (and sometimes tapes and CDs) one at the time.

But I don't know if I'm allowed to link it here.

Fair enough! music and a good view is a win tho.

Damn, you digitize all of them?

They look so small when on their side, having always seen posts of the disks head on I didn't expect this.

Some number just on that shelf.

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?

I don't digitize all of them. It depends on whether or not I already have a digital copy and if that digital copy is mastered just semi-decently.

However, all the vinyl on the shelves has to be digitized. It's a summer project that has kept getting delayed.

But my job has become a lot easier in the last 5 or so years, since a lot of vinyl records now come with a download code.

Predator Helios. Christmas gift for someone. Keeping the headset though. Never been interested enough in VR to pay for it, but if it's free.... yeah.

Nice.

Too bad it costs a fortune and the accessories it takes to make it "worthwhile" are a couple hundred €s more in the end.

I didn't need anything extra bar a case and screen protector at least. Cost is relevant at least.
So far been loving it. Hopefully it lasts as long as the little brother.

Would be some work. I’d imagine there’d be a good few projects to digotile preexisting disks wouldn’t have thought of the code tbh. Nice touch.

It's not that much work for a single disc. It takes maybe 10 min. outside of the runtime of the record itself.

And it's not like the runtime has to be dedicated just listening to the record.

I'm actually digitizing a record as we speak (or write).

But still, a download code is much quicker.

I can't seem to use a touchscreen properly when it's cold, so I went back to 2006 and got me a slide-out keyboard.

I'm happy with it, but people around me aren't :P
