If Corsair started making motherboards & graphics cards...

It's a possibility. They make almost every single component.

Would you buy a corsair mobo/ vga card?

I would definetely make an all corsair build with an intel chip.

Motherboards are finicky.  Depends on how well they do it.  Just look at EVGA, they even have experience with graphics cards which are basically miniature motherboards, and they're boards have been pretty meh in the past.

Sure why not.

But the important question is...

DO YOU KNOW HOW SICK A FULL CORSAIR BUILD WOULD LOOK?

LIKE SERIOUSLY.

It would be orgasmic.

Yup. Was dreaming of this to happen one day.

Hell no.

I steer away from Corsair almost whenever I can, though not on certain things like RAM, but I dislike their cases and power supplies.

If the obsidian series was powder coated steel or rubberized instead of brushed/anodized aluminium I would probably have one.

Their PSUs are just the epitome of averageness. Plus they rarely have all the connectors I need and the fans aren't as silent as I require.

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

I am a very big fan of corsair myself and have corsair parts here and there as it looks awesome and they make great stuff but they tend to set their prices high (not that they don't deserve it) and an all corsair build would probably cost a significant amount more than a partial corsair build. If they made great gtx 600 cards then I would probably sli one with my msi 660 pe :)

Eh.  I like their cases, and they are pretty top-notch as far as the workmanship goes.  As far as preference in materials/design yeah, I like some of their cases but not all.

I doubt they'll make motherboards thats for sure, the thing is motherboards are in an entirely different league to most of the things Corsair made and sure they could get into motherboard manufactoring eventually butr they would need to employ so many experts, to put it another way its quite easy for a motherboard maker to make a case, a power supply, and a graphics card, they just bolt some metal together and put a motherboard tray in it or get an OEM product and rebrand it, however this does not work both ways due to how specialist motherboards are, the team required to make a decent one would be massive, I guess thats why people like Sapphire and XFX gave it up. In other news sure they could employ like 10 times the people required to make motherboards but still I heard Intel are ending their standalone motherboard production after Haswell.

Also I doubt I'd buy one anyway, while my Corsair 600T is a very nice and well built case I use Crucial RAM as I was never really amazed by Corsair RAM, especially when the heatsinks keep falling off. Not massively happy with my H80I either, the red LED on it is temperamental and doesn't always work.

I would not touch that stuff with a stick. They have no idea how to make a mobo / gpu. And probably it was horribly overpriced.

I have the complete opposite view to what you have. I quite like most off the stuff that they have put out, especially the PSUs and cases. I mean the 600T is a piece of artwork, only reason I don't have more Corsair gear is because it doesn't match my current theme of black and green.

I agree their fans are loudish, but their cases are awesome and the h100i pump is inaudible (I have 2 noctua fans on it) plus it keeps my cpu at a steady 50 under the latest games

The 600T is also the only case I ever considered by them, due to there being no brushed/anodized aluminium. But I rarely use full towers.

if corsair made boards it wold look awesome , like a sabertooth but better. but it probably wouldn't be as good as the other MSI or asus boards out there

That's fair enough, not everybody's opinion is the same, hence why there's so much variety. I don't think I'll be going for a full tower again, too big, but I like the free space.

I like it compact, so the cable workmanship shows better. I'm about to embark on an adventure with the BitFenix Survivor, which is more my style and size. Will be doing a window this time, can't wait :)

Nice, be sure to make a build thread for that, as I would like to see it.

Well it all depends on how they make it. They don't really have much experience in terms on motherboard making . Sure they have some of the most premium parts on the market, which probably will translate into a motherboard that's really well made but I'll wait and see what actual reviewers think of them when they release it.

Why you gotta be so negative half of the time? :(

I would still probably wait for the reviews like I usually do, but considering how good they have been doing so far with other components, I would welcome them with open arms.

Exactly this^

if their motherboards would have similar build quality of the CX and GS series of PSUs then I would avoid using and suggesting them, same goes for GPUs.

You can't review a product that doesn't exist yet, they're motherboards could be baller. It's hard to say before they actual make them, which in turn I think is never gonna happen.

Would I buy them? Probably, depends on reviews and looks. So far ASUS, Evga and Gigabyte has worked out fine for me.

I would like to see something like that from them, altough the market is already filling with makers.

Codename: HighFlyer, specs:  CPU: i5 2500k cooled by a H70ish(2 rad)   Mobo: MSI MPower Z77   GPUs: Gigabyte GTX 660 OC 1150 MHZ core, 3150 memory both   RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16G @1600mhz   SSD: ADATA Premier Pro sx900 / HDD Seagate Barracuda 1TB/Samsung 1TB   Power supply: Corsair RM650 80+ Gold   Case Corsair Carbide 500R   5.4 ghz achieved on the good old 2500k, may it rest in peace. Current daily OC is 4.8 @1.41 v

I'm another Corsair avoider. They're the ultimate boring, safe, predictable option and I've always been averse to that, but even in the odd area they shine, it isn't as bright as the sparkle in most people's eyes.
