The i7 4930K now costs £415 here in the UK so would it drop to £300 or even £200 ?

Usually processors don't get cheaper the older they are unless they're used.

Likely just to clear old stock. You won't see any where near the price drops you're hoping for.

Generally the cost of manufacturing a chip is pretty high, it's not like clothes where a style goes out and they slash the prices.

They also don't mass produce them like other commodities, so there's no real reason for them to drive the price down.

Seeing that the 3930k is about the same as the 4930k, i dont think its going to go down at all in this year

In my country there are stores that still sell ivy bridge i7.. which are more expensive than 4770k or 4790k... compared to AMD where prices go down eventualy. I wouldnt say that intell CPUs will go with price down too much.. if even.

I assume for a while it will be around the same price. Most of the time tell they finely discontinue it.
