Consoles "couldn't possibly handle" Star Citizen, developer says

I love these games, pushing the limits in terms of hardware!

I really hope this melts PC's. I want a game to absolutely test my rig.

It's cool to see a dev care so much about PC, isn't it? I do get a sense of masterrace from them, but this will push PCs foward, I hope.

 

Maybe this is to send a message to devs with console in mind first.

Considering modern-day consoles have the equivalent of a GTX 480 (roughly)... I can believe this.

 

Apparently it was melting GTX 590's.

i thought it was a really underclocked 480
