Extreme overclockers, Vince "K|NGP|N" Lucido and Illya "Tin" Tsemenko have once again teamed up with the latest EVGA hardware to set new benchmark and frequency world records. Armed with an EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Classified K|NGP|N Edition graphics card, an EVGA X79 Dark motherboard, and the latest and greatest EVGA Power Supplies, Vince was able to push the GPU clockspeed up to a staggering 2025MHz, a new world record. 

 

Damn. Just damn. 2880 CUDA cores running at over 2GHz. This is why I love overclocking.

Too expensive and unstable. At 2GHz they would be burning through LN2 to keep it from exploding (no idea what volts they where pushing), and seeing as the prize only goes to a 3DMark run, they'll only go for that

lol yea, OK not quite as old as that but I remember seeing the (back in 2008) brand new GTX 260 and seeing how amazing the damn thing was, today it is nothing pretty much though my brother still games on it sometimes.

 

EDIT: Why does Precision show 2,025MHz but GPU-Z doesn't and also how did that achieve that insane clock speed with only 1,149mV?. I'm no expert but that seems really low.

2 GHZ GPU will be very soon. Not from AMD and not from NVIDIA, but from intel. you can easily do 1600 MHZ on intel hd 4000 i did ~1500 MHZ on mine.

not hard. simple equation: cores * clockspeed (MHz) * flops/cycle (im not sure what this is exactly, but i know on modern GPU's it's 2)

 

so 2880 * 2025 * 2 = 11,664,000 flops or 11.664 Tflops

ah thanks yeah the only way i found out it was 2 was by plugging in numbers until i got what amd/nvidia said the cards were (in regards to (T)FLOPS.

 

but thanks for clearing that up
