how fast can you type?

Frank Brown

I think it's a little odd there's no punctuation or capitalization. Doesn't really give the true effect.
Anyway, I got 412 CPM (82 WPM).

Experience = 15 years ish.

Is 35 good for a kid?

I am 16 and I got an average of 55 WPM. 35 WPM is better then a lot of people I know.

By the way, my experience is about 6 years.

And, typical QWERTY users would rest their hands on (ASDF JKL;) but my method is just free-handed moving around the keyboard itself.

Plus, i'm not even an adult and I can type this fast. When I get my mechanical keyboard, i'll probably have a better score than that.

What is this combo? I've never heard of it.

Cant recall the nameb (i dont think its called touch type... or is it? Because apparently touch type should be not looking right?!), but its benefit is that by leaving your 10 fingers in the middle row of the keyboard you will be able to access other keys without having to move your hands, and if i went by what this technique promises, a person who can do 100 wpm would do over 170 with this speciality "easy peasy". Problem is learning but i think this link might be it https://www.tckpublishing.com/how-to-double-or-triple-your-typing-speed-take-our-typing-speed-test-and-prove-it-for-yourself/.

Have you heard of a Dvorak (i think) keyboard? It's like a format where it has the most used keys in the centre or something and is supposed to significantly improve your typing speed. I was thinking of getting one ages ago.

Just rearrange keycaps, and do the software and BAM I HAVE DVORAK

Typing class in Elementary school was pointless for me, because I typed faster than almost every teacher. My first year in middle school has been pretty good so far. My tech Ed/woodworking teacher was asking me about pc building stuff lol. He is really awesome btw

Lol, teachers were tortured in my school by the classic CTRL + ALT + Down-Arrow key.

All my teachers including my current one need me for IT support in the class lol. At my Elementary school, they had Macs so the teachers were asking me how to right click! My grade 5 teacher (hated him btw) was so sad when he announced that the Macs were getting replaced by Windows PCs the next year. I pretty much started cheering with my other PCMR friend. Shame I went to middle school the next year

Do you know that Apple Mouse can't right click and left click at the same time?
