The actuall fuck is up with that shit?

Maybe they sold digital copies cheaply to those countries and locked them there so that the richer countries won't be eligible to get em that cheaply.

So it's adapted to the economics of the area.

lol, ubi has been doing this for a while now, every time i visit a steam page of one of their games it say that it only works in these regions, which is bloody retarded because latin america is paying the same money that murica and canada,

they only region lock different pricing regions. in russia games are much cheaper.

because they don't earn enough to afford games at the western prices. we don't earn enough in lithuania either, but we are in european union so we are kinda fucked.

Of course they did, people massively abused steam to get the game for like 7 rubbles. Honestly, this was probably Valve's decision. Just be happy Valve did not ban peoples abusing accounts. People really WANTS to see demons everywhere when it comes to Ubisoft. It's getting rediculous now.
