Most Disappointing Game Ever?

This is less a discussion about "what the worst game in the world is" but more about that type of game that in every right should have been great. The stars were aligning, there was a great developing team behind it, the publisher wasn't EA, and everything looked as if it was going to shake the gaming world to its core. You would have scaled the highest mountain, swam to the bottom of the deepest ocean, and go MILES just to reserve a copy. But then it releases and you and millions of others realize you just lost $60 to a game that was much less than you expected. Whether it was bugs, bad game mechanics, or it just being an abomination to a game series you love, what was the most disappointing game that you guys have ever played?

No I meant as in the my little dream scenario the game you were so excited for wasn't being published by EA, you can still post disappointing games that were published by EA

i allways felt that shift was better then shift 2, and that's just a shame... there was so much potential to make a fantastic track racing game for pc.

and my personal "favo" remember. Such a great story, but that gameplay... It was such a waste...

I will agree with Grid 2. The first game was so much fun, I put well over 500hours into it on the 360. Grid 2 is just a completely different game.

 

I hope Autosport turns out good. The drifting mechanics of the game looks terrible. But that's now what I'm buying it for anyway.
