Most Emotional/Deep video game?

connorpiper

There are some games that are like movies that are so emotional and beautiful that they feel like poems.

What would be the most emotional/deep video game you have played?

Mine, and no doubt, would be Journey on the PS3. That game... Man...

Red Dead Redemption. Very good storyline that makes you love John Marston and seeing him being shot down at the end after all that he had been through was pretty emotional for me.

Now, you know what you can expect from these barbarians. They are a race of rabid BASTARDS that will fight us tooth and nail! But they don't know what they're up against. Cyrodiil, is CIVILIZATION! Cyrodiil, is ORDER! Cyrodiil is POWER! And out here, WE. ARE. CYRODIIL.

You just ruined the game bud. Good thing we already beat it. HUEHUEHUEHUEHUE

I think I'll buy another PS3 and we can set up a private server so we can kill us some Mexican Banditos.

Lemmings.....so many died in vain.

Seriously though....I get very emotional when I read or sometimes when watching movies but video games don'¨t usually have that effect on me....

Maybe KOTOR?

It does make me miss my 2 pet goats I had growing up. They were so curious about every thing, I remember them climbing in the wheelbarrow we had at the time lol.

Huh, just remembered. Ni no Kuni.

Spec Ops: The Line. Basically, one of two or more games inspired by Joseph Konrad's Heart of Darkness. Supposedly, Far Cry 2 fits the bill as well - I'm not sure.

Bastion and Transistor.

I didn't play this but I watched it on youtube. I think it was called 'Gone Home' and it was about two girls that liked each other. It was very touching, almost made me cry :C

Journey was a great game. Really simple, but really powerful at the same time.

The Last Of Us was also really touching.

Surprised nobody has mentioned The Walking Dead. Man, the feels... I wept like a baby when I finished that game.

Also, I challenge you to play a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game without shedding a single tear. Two of the most emotional games I have played...
