Thats a hard one, to name a few;

Cyberpunk, Destiny 1 in its prime, Ratchet and clank 3 and gladiator, kingdom hearts 2, soulslikes, particularly elden ring id say tis the one ive spent the most time on anyway, the halo and gears series' for fun times with friends, helldivers has been a good recent one, dunno if favourite but definitely up there (ill include some honourable mentions), i really enjoyed DQXI, borderlands series, particularly 2, blops3 with friends, dead space, a plague tale series, NieR: Automata, Deus Ex; from human revolution onwards (havent played any of the previous), THPS4, THU, Jak and Daxter 1, 3 and X, and probably more that i cant think of rn (ill edit and update if i do think of any)

Honourable mentions: Helldivers as said before, ghostwire tokyo, remenant:from the ashes (have yet to play 2)

Not even getting into like DS games and stuff cus theres too many there to remember, largely PS2, Xbox 360 and ONE, and PC games

System specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D [-30 PBO all core]

Undertale, (just enticing game mechanics and epic battles)

Beat Saber, (really fun to play, especially when you get good at it)

Portal 2 (one is good but two is way better and is so old that it runs on most of my computers 😄),

New Super Mario Bros. Wii, (favorite childhood game besides wii sports)

Wii Sports (not because it has any cool game mechanics, but because it's consistantly a game I can come back to and enjoy at any age),

and Hearthstone (been playing it for ten years)

Theory: The games that are the most successful are the ones that don't try to be cutting-edge. Not a single one of these games strongly flagshipped their graphics, or even in some cases, their realism (except maybe Portal 2).

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask on N64. The 3DS remake changed too much for the worse. ESPECIALLY the lighting.

I've played it dozens of times. I love that it is a living world full of characters with their own lives (all of the side quests). I love how dark the story is and how much existential dread it brings. To me, the graphics are absolutely timeless. They don't feel like they were limited by the N64. The N64's graphical limits resulted in an amazing-looking game. The dungeon designs are amazing.

Modern gaming like Final Fantasy 16 need to look at Majora's Mask as the ultimate example of perfect side quests.

Ocarina of Time is definitely Top 5 too. Wind Waker was okay. I hated Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. And I never played Breath of the Wild, nor am I interested in its gameplay.

Elden Ring. Helldivers 2 is rapidly getting up there too. Probably Destiny 2 in its prime (warmind to just before sunsetting), and Star Citizen, though both those games are very far from perfect.

Logged in 1000+ hours in Skyrim, the mods help a lot. Runners up are Fallout New Vegas (also modded) and Borderlands 2 & 3.

More recent time sink faves are Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail.

For the best childhood memories/nostalgia its either Red Alert (1) or an obscure pirate/seafaring game called Havets Herrer (Lord of the sea) - I think it was a Swedish production.

Other great titles in my book are:

Baldurs Gate 3

Cyberpunk 2077 (in its now finished state)

Civilization

Dungeon Keeper 1+2

Mass Effect Triology

Rimworld

Jagged Alliance 2

Fallout 1+2+NV

Half-Life + Opposing Force

ect

ect

mITX is awesome! I regret nothing (apart from when picking parts or have to do maintainance *cough*cough*)
