Depends on how they enforce this, but yes I think it could definitely help. Twitter and Facebook aren't known for being bastions of truth and reducing fake news about the most recent world event is good. We can also agree to disagree about how effective the EU is gonna be in doing this since I have a feeling you don't share the same opinion.

yeah, well we'll see... i was just saying i doubt its gonna do much... so they delete ten thousands of offending posts,  out of millions or billions... and are good to continue doing what they're doing,  is what i think will happen.  no "x% of global revenue fines" or anything,  just a slight slap on the wrist as usual,  if anything.
