I've bought 5 SanDisk SD Cards in the past and need new ones now because 2 of them have broken. Which brands are the best.

I've liked the PNY Elite ones I've bought, and I would imagine Samsung's offerings would also be decent.

What camera/device do you have? This tells you what calss of card to get as there is no point in getting a uhs-ii card for a uhs-i device

 

Ive been pretty happy with Sandisk, but all cards can fail at any time. Any of the big brands fron a good retailer(I'd stay away from marketplaces like amazon) is likely fine

I've used SanDisk Extreme Pro 170MB/s SD cards and I've been pretty happy with them so far.

 

If your SanDisk cards are within warranty, then I'd just RMA them.

I've had good luck with my slightly higher end SanDisk/Pixtor cards, as well as both full-size and microSD Samsung cards. Can't really go wrong with either one IMO.

I'd stay away from Lexar (at least, the Lexar cards that were made after Micron sold the Lexar division). I hear ProGrade (started by a bunch of ex-micron/lexar people) are good.

I've got a few random cards like 2 Gskill 64gb but my bread and butter is like 20 Sandisk extreme 128gb with a few 64 and 256gb. So far I've not had a single card fail in my 15 years of using SD cards.
I've been meaning to pickup and try some Samsung SD cards given a number work quite well in abusive situations like dash cams. Their 256gb cards are also like 20$ right now on B&H.
