Yeah, sorry it's been a crap day so far, going to look into Acronis backup solutions.

 

 

PC - NZXT H510 Elite, Ryzen 5600, 16GB DDR3200 2x8GB, EVGA 3070 FTW3 Ultra, Asus VG278HQ 165hz,

 

Mac - 1.4ghz i5, 4GB DDR3 1600mhz, Intel HD 5000.  x2

 

Endlessly wishing for a BBQ in space.

Moving into a host's house tomorrow so most of my problems have gone away (apart from losing 90% of my friendship group because the guy I stayed with spread rumors around)

 

Turns out my host is my old form tutor from secondary school, which is pretty fun.

 

The only thing I might not be able to retrieve from my house is my DXRACER which is pretty annoying as it cost me a pretty penny

So I felt like I almost died last night. I had over 4 hours of the most excruciating pain beyond pain in my lower right back abdomen, the pain basically went all the way up until my body could no longer possibly register more pain, and I was screaming out loud with it too.

 

Phoned the NHS emergency number 2 hours into having the symptoms and told them that the area and pain level could possibly be appendicitis, and had an emergency appointment booked for 6 am.

 

But after just over 4 hours it went away. No sign of digestive or infective problems, and the doctor suspected that it resembled a gallbladder problem and to book an emergency appointment again if it repeats.

And also several years ago I could have died when I had pneumonia in my left lung - was coughing blood and could barely breath without severe pain. I got loads of antibiotics and antiminflamatory meds for that, and couldn't lie in bed for 4 or 5 days because the pressure against it was too painful (I had to spend those days confined to the single couch).

 

Yet my abdomen was vastly even more painful than that was :x

How I imagine that conversation went down.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.

Not at all how it works. They do a diognostic Q&A and suggest whether or not an emergency appointment is needed.

 

Lower back right hand abdonal pain of that magnitude is always an emergency as that is the location of the appendix.
