should be above 500W and at least 80+ bronze. 550W XFX Pro Core Edition, Corsair CX500/M or Seasonic M12II 520W, just to name a few options.

A solid 450w could power the system.

lol.on a 700w psu you can put 2x770 and have 250w to spare

-

a decent 450w is enough

I would think 450watts 80+ gold would be okay but I'd recommend at least 500watts with at least 80+ bronze 80+ gold recommended.

why people are recommanding corsair CX? those are trash, check reviews guys before you make recommandation...also the first question should be: Do you need a semi modular PSU

or this is not important for you, cause this will dictate how much a good unit PSU will cost you...and the wattage has nothing to do either, some 400W units are better than some

cheap ass 650W units...a seasonic S12II 430W for example is better than a corsair CS 650W...the amperage on the 12V rail is in fact more important than the wattage...

OP for your build if you don't want the unit to be semi-modular i would recommand this one :

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550sxxb9

If you need a semi-modular PSU, here:

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/rosewill-power-supply-capstone450m

The 550w might seem overkill and in fact it is but the price is soooo good on it i can't find a better unit at this price even with 450 or 400w...the rosewill unit is much better though,

if you could afford it this would be terrific.

If you need more headroom for future upgrade you are looking at this unit here:

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-m12ii520bronze

And if you need to be able to run SLI down the road just ask i will suggest a unit that is up to the task.

If you're really on a tight budjet, this is a very good unit too, but non-modular:

thats a solid psu by all means

It is in the top tier PSU, this will handle anything, single high-end GPU with even an overclocked FX CPU, no problem...it's the best quality.

but I need one that is 220v because I live in South America and I worry that a 600 watts.psu consume a lot electricity because some time I will be using the pc for 24/7 so I need one, psu, that does not have much watts, but is still good to put some hdd or ssd not to much things, if you know what I mean....Thanks for the answer! (sorry if I'm wrong to write)

The parts you put in the PC dictate the wattage used, not the wattage of the psu. Most psu's are efficient at 50-60% load.

ne, OP means he need a PSU designed to work on 220volts current...i'm sorry i can't help with that, but i'm not sure but won't all PSU has a switch at the back to select 110 or 220v ?! can someone help on that here please.

Get a 600 watt seasonic and you won't be disappointed. You'd get away with 500 or maybe even 450 depending on how much that CPU takes (havent looked at it in detail) and also how game you are.

Since you are from the SA, it would be helpful if you were to provide link(s) to where you are able to buy from, as well as your budget in your currency. This way we know what is available to you.

An APFC PSU are capable to be design to automatically adjust for different range of input voltages, in which a quality modern PSU will not have that red voltage switch you mention. For example, the Rosewill Capstone 450M has support for a 100~240v power grid, in which the OP is able to used it as long as he got the proper power cord for it. The same goes for the other units that had been mentioned on this thread.

Just in case this would cause an assumption that a modern power supply would auto-adjust to your home AC voltage, there are PSUs are design for only a limited power range. For example, the higher-wattage Enermax Platimax 1500w is a 220~240v PSU (which is the reason why it wasn't 80+ Platinum certified, as Ecova only had tested their desktop PSU at 115V at that time).

A decent Corsair or Seasonic 500 watt will be fine.
