HL3 CONFIRMED.

Shield Exclusive, confirmed.

The stone cannot know why the chisel cleaves it; the iron cannot know why the fire scorches it. When thy life is cleft and scorched, when death and despair leap at thee, beat not thy breast and curse thy evil fate, but thank the Builder for the trials that shape thee.

-Let's send out a green crowbar....

.

.

-Hang on, we've got to put a '2' on it, don't want people to get the wrong idea.

As a game programmer, and as one who has dealt with OpenGL and the ES variant, you could expect to see any game truly programmed for OpenGL (e.g. Valve games) on the desktop be ported to the Shield with great ease.  Aside from a few ways the OpenGL API calls are made, the vast majority of calls between OpenGL and OpenGL ES are very similar.  Just a few small tweaks are needed to GLSL shaders and voila, OpenGL games on a Shield (provided that 3rd-party library licenses are not an issue, which they usually are).

I couldn't imagine playing half life without kb/m personally, it's just the way that you move around in half life games that says that to me, for instance as you jump to a ladder you flick the mouse in order to face the correct way as you land to move up and using grav gun to move stuff.

Maybe it's just me IDK.
