We all have known Mango :D

This is why I only buy CPUs at Micro Center. Act pretty much anytime and they also give $40 off the motherboard as well (more for some brands)

Microcenter has a deal on the 4770k ($100 off). You can't order it online, it's an in-store pickup only deal.

The 4670k is also on sale ($70 off). Same deal, in-store pickup only.

I took advantage of the 4770k deal last week. Thanks for sharing.

Technically, we don't all know. There are a lot of new users to this forum who would benefit from this sort of information.

It seems cheap, but when you convert it to CAD, it's just the same as if it had a regular discount.  ;)

This is not really a deal. I work at Micro Center and yes, the i7-4770K has dipped down to $250 two or three times while the i5-4670K dips down to $180. Sale or no sale, Micro Center has the best prices on CPUs because Micro Center loses money on them in order to attract business. Strictly speaking, there's a one CPU per customer policy unless said customer is doing multiple full builds. It's also why you're not allowed to order them online.

I got it for $200 at the Baltimore Microcenter last weekend. They were running the $249.99 price at the time and there was a $50 coupon for it available on Microcenter's website.

I only live a couple of hours away from a Micrcenter, I usually buy only and if I did not already have a 4770K, I would say its worth driving at least a couple hours to go get it at that price, but any further and i would just say, get it online.
