Yes, that's a scam. Anybody contacting you with offers of cryptocurrency is a scammer.

@nicklmg @CPotter Scam on Facebook impersonating LTX Expo. Probably a futile effort given the amount of scams on Facebook but should at least be able to get the profile shut down.

Rule of thumb:

"If it's too good to be true, then 99% of chances are: IT IS!"

"There's a Chinese proverb saying there are no free lunch in this world."

"The little gain you got means a multitude of suffering others have to endure."

"No pain, no gain."

These phrases are what makes me weary of these scams.

THEY GOT SANTA CLAUS! OH NO!!!

Gasp! Whoever deny this person will be in Santa's naughty list and get no present, because now he controls Santa Claus! Ha ha. I gotta admit, he got some creativity there.

Most things involving crypto are a scam,

That's why Steam doesn't accept crypto anymore.

That account is most definitely as scam, we'll try to get them removed ASAP.

I would report/block them to help the process.

Facebook has its registered office in USA. So, you can make a report to CISA.

By sending the header to CISA, I reported several fraud attempts via email, which exploited a well known spoofing vulnerability of gmail (Gmail SMTP Relay Service Exploit).

The scammers stopped emailing me, so maybe it will work for you too. I also blocked their email through my provider's service. 😉

The page has one like, and it's the LTX Expo. Yeah, it's definitely a scam.
