  1. It was actually a Wooting Wrist Rest that I had borrowed from work , but have since returned it to the office. It slipped around a lot on the desk itself, but using it with a desk mat wasn't so bad. The main reason I don't use it at the moment is that even though I have a Wooting Two, the keyboard I mainly use at is a GMMK w/ Tangerines and since it's ten keyless the wooting wirst rest would be way to long for the keyboard.

Unfortunately, the linked pages are current disabled since some of the information was specific to the plans for LTX 2020. I've removed the dead links from the FAQ for now and the Contact Us form at the bottom of the page appears to be working as intended, not sure why it's giving you a 403 error.

Unfortunately, no LTX this year, but 2022 seems possible (no promises yet). The next LTX will almost certainly be at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Linus Tech eXpo
  4. Just read you post in the LTX thread Jan 19...   Just a thought for down the road, could a LTX be done Spring/Fall West Coast/East Coast?  Be kinda coold to line something on the East Coast to line up with Halcon..  just my 2cents

Hosting LTX in Vancouver has worked really well for us since our office is in the area, I don't think we'd ever say that a west/east coast event will never happen, but we'll have to see how things go given the ongoing pandemic. British Columbia has a restart plan in place so hopefully things we'll see things open back up for 2022.

  5. I honestly don't know what our situation on Facebook is in terms of being a Facebook partner in terms of advertising.
  6. I don't think it's an issue, we made a sponsored post on twitter not to long ago with the same image it looks like is part of the same campaign with solidworks.
  7. I don't think we've put out an official statement yet (although we will at some point), but I know it's been mentioned on WAN show that for the time being we aren't planning on hosting an LTX this year. A virtual LTX is also not likely to happen since we're working on some other streams/events/videos that will happen throughout the year! It's just not possible to host an event in person due to the ongoing pandemic, but we're hopefully that we can be back for 2022. We'll just have to wait and see.
  8. We always appreciate it when community members want to help out with this kind of stuff, but we've already got Spanish and some other languages covered so there's no need to post any video translations to the forums.
  9. YouTube has removed community contributed captions so it's no longer possible to submit captions. At the moment we're working on additional languages and the one's we do have being done are typically added to the videos not longer after it goes live, but it can take a bit for them to show up under the closed captioning option. Any other language that isn't done manually is sort of be done YouTube's auto-caption option, but it's not perfect to say the least.
  10. I current have a model-o and typically find myself going with a really light mouse since I'm into a variety of games, but I don't typically have much a need for too many buttons on the mouse or extra features, I'll set the DPI when I get it and typically just use in-game settings after that unless I really need to change it. It was awesome switching to a mechanical keyboard a while back after using a membrane keeb for years and not knowing the difference, cherry reds or equivalents (currently using tangerines) without the extra feedback or click are my favourites, but it's all pref
  11. If we do have hotel group rates for future events we will have that information available on the LTX website, on the LTX section of the forums and we would post it on social media. Unfortunately, the current state of things means that we don't have any group rates to share right now.
  12. More then likely we'll just market any future events as LTX 2021 and so on, but nothing is official yet. We still don't have an official date, but we're still looking at July/August of next year, given that we are able to hold an event and that it's safe to do so. We weren't penalized as the West Building at the Vancouver Convention Centre has been sanctioned as an alternative care site until the end of the year (at a minimum), but were still on good terms with the convention centre and will hopefully be able to return in the future for more events.
  13. @Elektra57 We appreciate the sentiment, but due to the cancellation process everyone is going to receive a refund for any tickets/add-ons purchased for LTX 2020. Given the current circumstances we felt that it would be best if we go in this direction for refunds and start clean for next year. @Ezzy-525 We don't have anything we can share just yet, but as mentioned in the cancellation message we do want to do something this year. However, we can't make any promises just yet given the current situation.
  14. Hi, If you send an email to info@linusmediagroup.com with your name, ticket information and purchase ID and we can work in getting you a refund.
  15. I mentioned this in an earlier thread and as mentioned in previous comments this topic about VIP tickets has come up in the past and will continue to appear as long as tickets like VIP exist. I know that Linus has talked about this in the past on WAN show, increasing the number of tickets will effectively make it not "VIP" and since they are limited it does not matter how the tickets are distributed we will not have enough for everyone who wants to get one. The issue with Tixr locking accounts while they are trying to purchase tickets is a separate issue, but is unfortunate and obv
