They make the most god awful sound though.

UPDATE:

 

Got the paint so I started painting the rest of the parts that needed to be painted, I already made a minor screw up on the back of one of the fans which ticks me off but it doesn't look that bad. I should be close to done by Monday because the reason I screwed up was because I was rushing it so I'm taking it slow now.

They make the most god awful sound though.

 

The Quiet and Performance edition of corsair fans have slightly different motors engineered to run at those RPMs. The Quiet edition is not just a performance edition with a LNA on it. The Performance edition also uses more power, and has a higher starting RPM than the Quiet. If you run a Performance edition at the same RPM as a Quiet it should theoretically be the same noise level, but the Quiet edition will be able to reach lower RPMs where the Performance would stall.

UPDATE:

 

Sorry the build has been at a stand still. Its been rainy and I haven't had much time on my hands. Also I'm running out of things to do. After I finish my midplate and fans I'm basically done except for a SSD. Well, I need to paint the yellow line on my Lightning but that's it, oh, never mind I forgot I have a surprise but idk when that will be done. What else should I do to the build?? Remember though watercooling is next year if I don't change platforms by then.

you can take3 this build to the next level by getting caselabs sm8 and liquid cooling it with rigid tubeing! IMAGE THAT but your not gonna do it so wut ever lol

They're just blacks ones now but the blue sleeved ones I had was just regular SATA cables with some loose sleeving stretched over and heatshrinked on. You can get all the materals on frozencpu
