This is first system build i did in July of last year, iv just been upgrading it over time

 

First the system has been put together mostly , just waiting on funds to get the listed parts below:

 

Note: the corsair h80i will be replaced by h100i, the corsair vengeance memory will be replacing the Kingston memory ,and the Zalman Z9 will be replaced by the Corsair Obsidian 750D, and Amd XFX 7870 GHZ Edition will be replaced by EVGA GTX 780 SC 6gb ,the power supply will be changed in the future by the Corsair HX750i fully modular power supply.

 

Intel i5 3570k- already own

Msi Z77A-GD65- already own

Corsair H80i- already own changing this wth H100i

Corsair H100i- already own and iinstalled

Kingston Hyper X 8gb- already own

Corsair Vengeance 8gb- to be purchased

Amd XFX 7870- already own

EVGA GTX 780 SC 6gb- to be purchased

Zalman Z9- already own changing this with the 750D

Corsair Obsidian 750D- to be purchased  own

Corsair tx650 psu- already own  getting replaced by HX750i !!!!

Corsair HX750i psu- waiting for corsair to release it

Samsung Evo 120gb ssd- already own - Games Drive

Samsung Evo 250gb ssd- already own - OS Drive

Crucial M4 64gb ssd- already own - Games Drive

sorry if its a little dusty iv gotta by some compressed air or something hoping to do some mods with custom cables if i decide to purchase a better power supply and led lighting

but the cable management at the back , that another story ive gotta get my 750d so i can make it neat and tidy on both sides , zalman z9 just has me backed up since my h100i cant fit in it

With what GPU. I know my 7870 can't do that. But on topic you did a good job of cable management with the case and looking forward on how you do the rebuild.

yup i should have atleast most of the parts before the year ends, id only have a problem with the gpu as it cost me $1000 BBD to get one and i have $500 for 750D ,another $400 in memory and another ssd and some corsair fans, and after that id be broke since the rest is going into an L- shaped desk id have to keep the gpu and get a maxwell gpu next year or so but i really need nvidia more than i do with amd

what if you get the GPU first and then get the rest of the items? It seems the best thing to buy first so you could reap the GPU goodness.

nah gpu last would benefit me as i can already play at ultra proper, 780 will just be extra powe rto keep me good for couple years

Update: Im going to soon order my 750D then after i have my H100i laying around so once the case gets here ill install it and upload pics

and the monitor that im gonna be using to display all of the sexiness and glory is the Asus VG248QE 24-inch LED-lit Monitor capable of 144hz refresh rate at only 1ms !!!!

this is gonna be used for gaming streaming and i might just start doing some video editing but i dont know yet

biggest thing for me will be faster performance in games and applications

After that's done I'll be doing custom watercool so the build will start to begin later this year with the GPU coming first
