1:1 scale of Denmark in Minecraft blown up by (American?) players

KakaoDj

Kitguru article

The project that took 4000 billion blocks to build, and was around 1TB in size recently got blown up. The map is now full of american flags and tanks on top of the rubble ('MURICA FUCK YEAH). Dynamite was indeed blocked on the server, but not the minecart, which is a giant fluke. 200.000 people have downloaded the map so far, and that is quite impressive considering it is around 1TB is size.

The fact that it got blown up is a shame, but Areas that have been damaged will be re-built when necessary, the Danish government also recognises that these things happen in Minecraft and as a result, it doesn’t care too much that this has been happening:

Quote from the Danish government

“We consider that as a nature of playing Minecraft – elements are broken down and new are being created. Therefore we will not reboot the demonstration of Denmark in Minecraft. But occasionally we will rebuild minor areas if buildings are removed and nothing new is being created. We are very happy to see so many players around the world creating fancy nice things and have fun.”

This surprises me and doesn't surprise me, sadly.  I figured this paradise is too much of a liberal socialist hellhole for many US citizens.  And there's not really oil under it.

What else could they be after...  Is it the bacon?  Because all the good stuff gets exported to the UK!  Please don't take the bacon, it's the only bacon I can get... :(

Of course this isn't the master copy. And it's a 1:1 scale map of a country, it's going to be pretty massive in file size.
