Lol. First off, It's been free for a while. Second, free is still a bad deal for that game. Third, don't even waste your time downloading. And lastly, they need to pay us to play that shit game.

Free for a month, I'd consider downloading it. I play MW3 iSnipe, that's it with COD.

Free weekend games like COD are pretty pointless.

Steams Free weekends are a pain in the ass for FPS's, every man and his dog who likes to tinker with hacks can easily create many accounts that weekend and just keep on hacking.

^F that shit.

Even hackers who don't own the game will get it just to screw with others...

Thats why I give these a miss unless Its one of those "Must buy, but I'll try it,..I'm broke as hell" moments...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Blacklight Retribution. Better graphics, better customization, free to play. Enough said. :P

Superior gunplay, no killstreaks, microtransactions if wanted (but you can do just fine not playing), would highly recommend.

I haven't played it on either of the occasions it's been free.

The idea of no FOV adjustment (wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't locked so low) and that 'ultra light' IW engine feel is not a nice combo.

I remember testing this ages ago, it was pretty mediocre back then.  If I had decent internet, I might try it again, but sadly I don't.

I played last time it was on a free weekend, the game was ok (usual cod stuff) but I had a big issue. My character would randomly turn 90 degrees left or right at random times. Like I wouldnt even move the mouse and he would just rotate and run into a wall

Played for like an hour and got bored, not really a fan of COD multilayer. I sort of want to play the SP as its the only COD I havnt played yet but I will probably just borrow a friends copy for console and give it back after
