Will my GTX 1070 work with free sync and HDR10?

I am looking to buy this monitor that has free sync and hdr10, from what I have read free sync may or may not work and HDR might not be compatible. I have a GTX 1070 and am wondering if the all the monitor features will work with my card.

Freesync should but I am not sure about HDR, what exact graphics card do you have?

As it is a FreeSync Premium display there is a good chance variable refresh rate will work well on it. If you want to be sure find a display that is G-Sync Compatible certified instead. 

 

No idea about HDR as long as Windows is involved.

it should work as a 'G-sync compatible' monitor but you will need to enable the toggle in the control panel if it's not Nvidia certified. Also that monitor really shouldn't be used for HDR as it doesn't get bright enough for a decent experience.

Yeah the HDR10 is no more than a marketing tactic. 

I have yet to find a good use of it on my LG GL850-b.

This monitor is not even meet the minimum requirement of HDR 400, it is way too low the brightness and you only get bad HDR output which most the time look dull or over exposure.

 

Look for HDR 600 and above if you want to enjoy HDR gaming or movie playback.

Technically it will work. But realistically HDR will probably make most things look worse on that monitor, as it really isn't an HDR monitor. It can merely accept an HDR signal, not really display one.
