I would rather burn my retinas then used flux to be honest.

But I have themed my whole ui to be dark so I guess I never get bothered by the blue light coming off of whites.

helping here is a cool thing I saw someone do on an thinkpad x220t(might be a x230t) I assume he never actually uses the physical keyboard.

Hidden Content

No thats not OSX its arch or gentoo if I recall correctly.

Yeah well, u don't have darkroom mode either. Inverts everything to red and black hue. It's surprisingly nice on the eyes for white heavy stuff i.e. reading a lot of documents, excel, word, PDF etc.

Honestly, if you set the color shift to slow and use a tame temperature, you won't even notice it.

I set it up on my dads PC, his PC is plugged into a Samsung LED panel and he still isn't even aware it's installed.

F.lux is what makes me able to have 4 monitors in front of me and not have eye problems or crippling headaches.

Also lol pls no.

This thing is like carrying around a monitor in your hand, 16:9 tablet. This is absurd tall. I think reading a PDF of a textbook would make each page larger or of nearly the same size as an actual page out of the book lol.

T300 in tablet mode is definitely a zweihander. I wish Windows had Swype because I'm going to be pecking nervously with one hand because I don't want to drop this behemoth of a tablet.

Hmm, I haven't been getting notifications properly. I've been quoted or someone has liked a post and only found out as I went to the page for some other reason and scrolled past it. Long live the new forum!

You know what's easier than buying and building a brand new PC? Petty larceny!
If you're worried about getting caught, here's a trick: Only steal one part at a time. Plenty of people will call the cops because somebody stole their computer -- nobody calls the cops because they're "pretty sure the dirty-bathrobe guy from next door jacked my heat sink."

This thing is more of a brick then your t300 lol.

There is no way he is using that while holding it in the other hand. That image looked small cause 768p but its a 12.5 screen. I more just posted it cause it looks like it would be a cool setup on an actual tablet.
Definitely not something I would use or recommend using.

Ah, that explains it. I thought it would be related to economics. Maybe watch some Aria to calm down before you go to bed tonight (assuming you get to sleep with that workload).

tbh, I was pretty bomb at economics. I smashed my Macroecon and Microecon courses and did a lot of writing tying in humanities and economics.

tooting my own horn is ok because I've probably forgotten a ton of it having not used it in such a long time.

college used to be so much fun until I had to start sloshing my way through junior year hellstorm.

That's... the opposite of convenient. So now I have to go hunting for posts if multiple people quote me? Oh joy.

Well if you call this hell, then misery loves company, I suppose. Just here to find people to hang with, a sub-culture within a niche community tech forum. Also, I'm partially interested to see what the Waifu-Wars are like here. *Popcorn popping in the microwave*

Ah, those were the days though they were not Waifu-Wars more, Gif wars. Pages upon pages of gifs. However these days have come to pass and peace(shitty boring peace) has bleached this hell hoel.

Definitely done with XCOM 2 for now. Never seen so many 80%+ chances on shots fail. I felt like my soldiers were fucking stormtroopers.

Alien runs out into the open, just standing there like a dumbass. Sniper misses. Heavy with a machine gun and a hail of bullets misses. Specialist with an assault rifle with accuracy mods misses. Ranger can't even hit it with a shotgun at melee range. Then said alien DOES get into cover and proceeds to dismantle my entire fucking team. Only one survived. GG soldiers. Nice job at ridding the world of the alien menace.

@Opask

I feel dirty now. I tried installing Steam on Debian (since I had to reinstall again).

It kept saying it couldn't find libGL.so.1. Welp, I went through installing all sorts of packages hoping it'd fix it. It never did.

Eventually, I used locate libGL.so.1 to see where one was I could use, and just symlinked it to the location Steam wanted. But now I have all this crap on my system that I'm not sure if I need or naw.

The reason it didn't find it in the first place was apparently because installing i386 mesa doesn't install it to /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/mesa like it should. It installs it to /usr/lib/mesa-diverted/i386-linux-gnu.

Why. Just why. :|||| So the link was broken.

.... If this happens again, I'm just going to do Arch.
