... Yeah fair point, Japanese culture in a nutshell, 120% effort to keep it In a good shape because family heirloom or something. 

Speaking of katana, didnt they have the... Masamune? In a shrine/temple with bodyguards 24/7?

I know you guys arnt electricians or a/c specialists(or maybe you are, idk) but i think my ac just went out. when i turn on the ac it trips the breaker for the unit, but the inside fan continues to run, then when i turn on the heat it trips again. Is the heater and ac part of the same unit? I always thought the heater was separate from the ac unit outside. It to late to do anything about it today.... damn this weeks turning out to be an expensive one.

Has/is anyone going to try the steam version of tales of symphonia?

I've seen a lot of people bitching and complaining about it because it is a straight port of the PS3 version. It actually makes me quite mad that they are complaining since its another JRPG on pc. Which is awesome imo. I'll probably buy it if only for that reason and to spite the complainers even though I'll just play my gamecube copy.

It's apparently supposed to be self-aware crap, and some people enjoyed it on that level. A bit too dumb for my tastes, so I gave up on it in episode one.

In Universe, he gave his vessel/Masaki the power to be immortal/auto-heal, he can't be copied, and killed, I think, another immortal.

In Ryo-Ohki, when he woke up he shook every universe, wrecked 1-2 beings higher in power than The One Above All [Z and the Counter Actor] while making 3 Goddesses on Par with the One Above All submit.  According to those goddesses, that he made submit that represent the writers, he is god to them as god is to mortals. o.O

So, he's like a super god?  But, what's the point?!

All I got was that he was this power that is supposed to exceed the power of avatar gods/gods that represent the writers. o.O But, why?  Or, am I overthinking a comedy harem anime?

 ^That might actually be from Ryo-Ohki since the OVAs are Ryo-Ohki/the canon material as the mangas are not canon.

Is this more accurately your question, "What's the point of a character that is a god to gods?"

... What's the point of god characters? Same answer, but, as you said, in relation to the god characters instead of the mortals.

i.e. it makes the god characters vulnerable and gives them mortal qualities. Which makes them relatable (in a way). Which is significant for any given story. That you relate to the characters. :|

Not sure if having redundancy of actual mortals -> god characters -> god of god characters is the best way to do it, but wtv.

I know,  however, he named a sword after himself, Honjo Masamune, can't remember if that's the sword I was thinking about or if it was a sword by Muramasa. Either way, it's one of the most top kek Japanese sword ever made.
