It seems like the kind of anime that people generally don't bother even criticizing, since only those who are really into this sort of thing would normally watch it. But I fail to see what makes it more special than the next thing like it, such as the other recent red-haired girl anime like Yona and  Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii. Well, unless blandness is a virtue. I'm hoping they do some actual character and relationship development sometime, because it feels like it hasn't even left first gear in 5 episodes.

Thanks for reminding me to play that. Got it on GOG a while back and it works flawlessly in wine so yeah. I have always liked the rayman games have the 2nd on N64, and the 3rd on physical disks. But they pretty much don't work at all beyond win XP(I barely got the installer to launch) so I will have to rebuy it on GOG and replay it with the version that they worked their magic on.

Wish I'd had more time for anime/manga, or that I'd chosen something a bit more entertaining than Shirayuki, but them's the breaks.

 

Snow White with the Red Hair (4). so-so.
Thought I'd try this again, given its positive overall reputation, but it's still a flatline for me. I get no sense of chemistry from the leads, nor feel any momentum or plot potential. It's just a light airy slice of life series about two characters who are supposed to be in love, yet come across like mannequins to me. It all feels so painfully artificial and twee, like a show trying to introduce a different genre to moe addicts. Like if they turned their camera a little you'd see the massive floodlights that keep the colossal modern greenhouse in their "fairy tale" setting so brightly lit at night. Like watching a little girl play with plastic dolls while her mother mutters to her about fantasy horticulture. I mean I should probably be annoyed at the trite writing, with the chief doctor just handing Shirayuki the prince's medical history without truly vetting her, but I honestly feel nothing but apathy for what's going on. I can't even see the leads having any kind of conflict, let alone sharing any kind of actual relationship.

Yes, yes, we get it: she overworks herself. Can't you give her another trait already? Jeez, this anime has fewer notes than K-On. I guess Shirayuki is the only one with a brain, too, given that anyone of average intellect could have deduced the root cause of the illness in this episode. Not to mention that if they're living in an era with glass buildings and aqueducts, they should have learned not to keep everyone in one room when people are ill, let alone having heated floors and such in a "fort" that lavish. And even if such contrivance wasn't enough to make my eyes roll, the whole scene with the bandits was positively cringe-worthy: "hey, let's all stand around while he talks like some generic anime protagonist, then attack him in the least organized way possible!" Seriously? Wouldn't it have been more rewarding if the soldiers at the garrison had redeemed themselves instead of Zen being stupid, while they just shoveled snow? And why not have Zen realize that he's like Shirayuki and should delegate work as well, so he can watch over everyone properly (especially his love)? I mean, this stuff practically writes itself... but I suppose I shouldn't expect much from a show where no one wears the proper attire for winter conditions.

Well, Zen's brother turned out to be just as boring and pointless as the rest of the characters in this show so far. I liked his attitude at first, as it seemed like he had a head on his shoulders compared to the rest of these clowns, but they squandered that the moment they brought Raji back just for some generic "political machinations". They still have a chance to redeem this episode if Izana turns out to have an atypical motivation, but that seems unlikely if they couldn't even be bothered to draw the scratch on "the monkey's" cheek after the first time (or maybe he has a mutant healing factor in addition to superhuman agility). At any rate it seems likely that the annoying over-acting Raji will become a permanent fixture, and we'll continue to have boring slice of life instead of an over-arching plot or any tension or sincere romance. But then again, Shirayuki did just realize that she isn't a robot and has actual feelings like a real girl, so at this rate maybe she'll realize she's in love before the season ends.

What.... lol i havent even watched 10 eps of Gosick... i dropped it at ep 7, so to answer your question, no lol. i was referring to that prince guy in Akagami no shirayukihime

Probably because everyones sorta calmed down from the change.

 

Are you talking about that chibi spinoff AoT show that aired like a season or 2 ago? or something else?

Edit: actually is this the show your talking about- Koutetsujou no Kabaneri being made by the same studio as well. seems like its gonna be another attempt of a cash grab like usual. sigh maybe theres some kind of licencing problem with Aot so they cant produce another season. least thats what im hoping because this is getting a bit ridiculous. 

 

Seems like Magi is getting another season, though its gonna be the sinbad ark with i dont really like him so ill pass other than that theres like one other show im looking forward to next season but seems like its gonna be another meh season

haven't modded this one , overclocked for a month then been on stock clocks since (not a good chip. well its aight , but not 1600mhz core 2000mhz ram on air like the first one i had)

i'd like to see what my components are capable of but i dont know how to do overclocking all to well, well testing it i mean, overclocking the gpu is easy im mainly refering to cpu and how i do to stress test for the gpu or the cpu. i know a mish mash of things like aida64 for cpu but idk how to overclock the cpu effectively or overcloing a gpu is easy but idk how to test it lol

CPU Stress testing can be a pain sometimes. I used to use prime95 but now it always crashes and IBT just makes your chip stupidly hot like 20+ degrees hotter then prime95. You could run an encoding loop for a bit, that usually seems to be the best method. Other then that you just have to use and see if you start experiencing blue screens or not.

 

Now that I have this new case with properly controlled fans I'm probably going to change my speed back up to 4.7ghz. It was a little too warm for my liking in my old case but it should be fixed now.
