@MyInnerFred Just wanted to let you know I finally got around to watching Hyouka and it's great. Currently on episode 12 but I might just buy the Bluray for it later.

I only buy the blurays for Anime I like the most.

I read the last few chapters of Evangelion just recently. They were sorta an epilogue and prologue for the original series. And they kinda set themselves up for the Rebuild of Evangelion with it.

Wow, glad to hear you like Hyouka. Funny enough I've downloaded like the whole Shakugan no Shana collection a couple of months back, wasn't that your favorite series?

Yeah my favorite Anime will always be Dragon Ball Z. But I really liked the story on Shana. I will admit that on Shana they rushed the 3rd season a bit. they could have made it into 4 seasons to wrap up the story better but I still really enjoyed it never the less.

Heard mixed things about it, might give it a marathon soon. Hey your area ok with Harvey? I'm in high ground areas of Houston so no flooding but sewage was backed up.

San Antonio just got some wind and scattered rain but thats about it. We didn't even get a thunder storm power outages. It was more of a regular rainy day.

I believe it was because the hurricane turned the other way as soon as the tail end of it reached San Antonio.

Animebytes is pretty much the best private tracker IMO while Animetorrents being the worst one.Also nyaa is back as well

I need more anime to watch! lol I finished the series I was watching and only have 1 movie I plan on watching and I have a long ass trip ahead of me. Can I get some recommendations for anime similar to what I've watched so far 

 

the list of what I've seen in order of my favorite to least favorite:

-Kokoro connect

-plastic memories

-my teen romantic comedy snafu

• Princess Mononoke
• From Up on Poppy Hill

 

I'd recommend:

• Toradora

• Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!
• Charlotte
• Kanon
• School Rumble
• Shakugan no Shana (one of my all time favorites, but a lot of people have mixed feelings about it)

• Angel Beats
• K-ON
• Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

I have seen Clannad as a recommended anime for similar movies to what I've watched on youtube and it kinda sounds good, but I just don't like the art style (AFAIK from images on google and the clips provided in the youtube videos) so I don't think I will watch that (though I think I heard somewhere there is a different version with a different art style or something, not sure if this is true or not). Same goes for Kanon, I don't like the art style, it also doesn't sound very good.

 

I think I will try watching Boku dake ga Inai Machi and Charlotte. Also, Boku dake ga Inai Machi kinda sounds like life is strange, which I really liked, so most likely will watch it.

 

Can you tell me more about angel beats, K-ON, and Shakugan no Shana?

 

As for the movies, I might watch Mononoke Hime but I'm kinda on the fence with that. All the other movies and series I didn't mention I probably won't watch.

Angel Beats is the heart wrenching story of what happens after you die.

 

K-On is a highschool life story that follows a girl band that consists of of amazing guitarist that idolizes amateur guitarist, introvert bassist, uber outgoing drummer, and Mugi.

 

Shakugan no Shana shares a similar base concept as Bleach, but a significantly different execution. It's lighter hearted, and a few details are changed, but it also follows a bit closer to some cliches and tropes oft found in modern anime.
