Not that I'm aware of. You're either banned or not.

There are some restrictions when warning points are applied, but I'm not sure what those are still.

No shadow bans. If restrictions placed on the account, you will 100% be aware of the restrictions.

Users can ignore anyone they choose and the other person doesn't get notified, not a shadow ban though.

Depends which options you choose when ignoring someone; you can choose to ignore mentions, posts, status updates, or messages (PMs). For ignoring posts/status updates it will hide the content and show a small "You are ignoring this content" message in place of their post - this message can also be disabled by selecting it when ignoring someone to fully ignore them and not see the ignore message. If ignoring mentions they'll still be able to @ tag you in threads but you won't receive a notification for it.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Ah, nevermind, I was mistaken. It only removes the menu option to show the ignored post, it doesn't actually hide that there was an ignored post.

As a workaround you should be able to remove it with plugins that allow you to create userscripts to change how a website is displayed (greasemonkey, tampermonkey, etc) or anything that lets you block elements such as uBlock Origin. For uBlock add a custom filter   ##.ipsComment_ignored

uBlock would be my way of doing it. Just add that line to My Filters and apply changes.

Which would end up looking as if there was never a message there at all, such as with your posts here as an example

While I can understand wanting to completely ignore someone including not seeing those messages I think having their posts just vanish completely would cause some confusion for most people. People might not realise that there are hidden comments in a discussion and may not be able to follow the discussion or cause other issues. At least with the content ignored message people understand why the discussion might not be complete. The messages as they currently are are rather small and discreet so can be easily ignored while still maintaining functionality of indicating a message is not being shown.
