So a random user says you won some amount of money when you didn't enter into a contest for it?

If that's not 1000% scam I don't know what is.

The "bringers of good news" are scam. Always.

It might seem legit, but better not to touch a anonymous "raffle".

I edit my posts more often than not

100% a scam. If you're in a large server they DM people for this exact purpose. You might wanna report it to the admins of your mutual server so they can sound the alarm to their members.

It's entirely possible that I misinterpreted/misread your topic and/or question. This happens more often than I care to admit. Apologies in advance.

Only need to look 2 seconds. That is a SCAM.

You will get nothing, but your data stolen keyloggers installed.

And worst case your identity stolen.

Dont fall for it report and move on. 😉

why? All its designed to do is steal your data and hack your accounts. Why even risk it when it is absolutely a known scam?

100% SCAM

A quick whois shows the domain was registered on Nov 4, less than a month ago, yet the actual website claims it is one of the largest exchanges with ~$200B held in BTC, or approximately 20% of all BTC in circulation. Yeah I don't think a brand new exchange could possibly reach that level in one month.

My guess is they are baiting people to sign up with small BTC giveaways which they 'deposit' into the wallet you create on their site (though they almost certainly will not let you withdraw it). Then they hope some unwitting people will further deposit their own BTC to the same wallet. In a few weeks to months the whole site will disappear and the proprietors will collect however much BTC people deposited.

This is one of the most classic crypto scams. Though I think there is little risk in making an account as long as you use a throwaway email and don't give any of your personal info. However don't for a moment think you are actually going to receive any BTC.
