Can you pass a practice A+ cert exam?

Mooshi

To those of you complaining that its old stuff and its outdated... So are a lot of PCs out there. I agree that its a bit dumb, but there are a LOT of pentium 4s out there still running. You see a lot more of it than you would think. That is one aspect of the A+ that I don't hate.

I'm pretty sure either the A+ certification needs to die, or they need to make an A++ certification that that actually covers modern hardware.

Are you sure AMD makes them in-house, not re-brands them? There is a huge difference.

This is why I don't care about my coworkers who have 'certifications'... too bad HR (and bad managers) think they are the most important factor when deciding who to hire. An MCSE from 1995 is as useless as an A+ from then.

If all of you did a practice test 10 years from now when A+ will have questions about SATA instead of IDE, DDR3 memory vs old ram modules, wireless networking, etc. you all will ace the test.

Mind you, 10 years from now DDR3, SATA, PCI-e will all be considered ancient history.

50/80 ... all of this stuff was sure beyond my time (I'm born in '94)

My dad was studying all this in his day and he scored 20 ...

Goes to show they really have to move on.
