Ryzen is not faster than Intel, neither the other way around.

Brands don't really mean that much, it's the specific CPUs that matter. I would not replace an 11900k with a Ryzen 3 3100. It is important to consider each CPU on it's own merit and see which one is better, regardless of brand. If that happens to be an AMD CPU, then buy that. If it happens to be an Intel CPU, buy that.
