The 7750 is about the same as a R7 260. I think it has triple the stream processors.

yeah but it cost 140 plus shipping fom amazon, which at that moment was the only store with a last gen low profile single slot,,, i dont regret it the 7750 is quite nice,,, i wasnt looking for power more for savings this card was perfect if it was released at that particular moment... :D  anyway my point is someone will buy it...

True. That way, the 230's will give me an extra 3 fps. Now that's what I call performance.

I have to ask....why would you get this for any kind of system if you can grab an APU instead? Legitimately asking

you'd grab it for the system you already have and can't part with.

Some people have systems that, while they can afford to replace them, they don't want to.

They see some sentimental value in the pc they've had for 5 years.

They don't need anything powerful, just something that supports DX11 so that windows aero works.

Hence these cards which have terrible price/performance ratios, but at the same time have low cost.

Yes something like an APU is a better value, but when you already have a pc and are only looking to just barely keep it alive so you can keep using it for word documents and general browsing then this card is more or less what those kind of people are looking for.

My mother for example.

We have a Gateway GT5464 Core 2 Duo E4700 core pc with 4GB of ram that is unused and working perfectly.

We also have a Sony Vaio Pentium 4 HT 3.X ghz pc with 1GB of ram which she uses.

She chooses not to switch to the GT5464 purely for sentimental reasons, she would sooner upgrade it than she would switch. No matter how unstable the pc became I'm doubtful that she would replace it.

These cards are just to show something on your monitor if you don't have an igpu and not sure if will support watching videos in 1080p/4K. But for $50 its not worth it imo if you want to game on this as you could get a good performing for around $50 more.

my father is currently using a gt 610 which is weaker then this for powering 2 1440p screens, the 660ti in my sig broke but the 610 runs fine even if you play 1080p vids on both screens it handles it fine.
