Half-Life and it's remake Black Mesa are timeless and always fun to play.

Open RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 keeps that game fun and entertaining even in the the year 2021.

 

There's Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe as well which is great but TTD never saw the same success as RCT(2).

I do like BeamNG, Forza Motorsport 4 (still the best forza), and if I could play it again, Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed (I miss playing that game).

For modern PC games: Titanfall 2, Apex Legends, Paladins, Forza Horizon 4, Stardew Valley, Terraria, Celeste, and Sonic Mania

 

For older console/arcade games: Burnout 3, Gran Turismo 3, Crazy Taxi, SSX Tricky, Jet Set Radio/JSR Future, Sonic Adventure 1+2 and Heroes as well as any of the Genesis games, Outrun, Pacman, Galaga, Dig Dug, Sky Kid, Tetris (NES), Super Mario 3

 

There are other older console games I like (I'll play almost any game released on 6th gen or prior consoles), but that's a general list of my favorites from various genres.

All time fav had to be Portal 2. I really enjoyed the story. Currently its a toss up between Killing Floor 2 and Golf With your Friends.

heavily modded minecraft. Currently fighting dragons, cyclops, medusa, sea serpents, and a whole lotta enemies I don't even know what they are yet, but they're in this mausoleum making really pissed sounds when i walk by

Yeah it's pretty fun. However there sadly aren't many levels without buying the DLC. Can't say I wasn't a bit disappointed at the like 10 levels after spending 4 months of savings on the game. (I paid for it with Microsoft Rewards promotional gift cards that I got from lots of Bing searches).
