I didn't Google the name beforehand, it does seem like 'Giesbrecht' is more German in origin.

Associating Giesbrecht with Belgium was something I mainly did because of the Belgian town 'Brecht' :^)

I used photoshop. There is a magnetic lasso tool so all it needs is doing a rough tracing around it slowly and it will basically select it for you. Then you just have to use the paint bucket to fill it in.

There’s always the free iOS and iPadOS version. It doesn’t have as many features, but it works well enough for the basic things.
