If you don't want sharp edges you would get speeds similar to the pink car below. It for aerodynamics. Sure they can use curves but it will end up looking like a Bugatti, Ferrari or a McLaren.

The edges are useful for overclocking since they are made of ultra--thin, ultra-light carbon fiber and aluminium which will dissipate heat like the fins on a heat sink
