So i have been reading a lot of post from people with high end pcs and that got me thinking, who out there has a low end pc? I think a lot of people would be surprised by how well a cheap pc can get the job done. Post your specs below. My specs are:

Intel core 2 duo e6850 @ 3.0 ghz

4gb ddr2 @ 800mhz

nvidia 9800gt 512mb

400 watt psu

unknown mobo

640gb wd black

nzxt guardian 921rb

I run my own indie game company called Color Dragon Studios where we are currently making a 2d platformer game called Small Earth.

I have an

E8800 @ afaik 2.6ghz

Asus PB5 Premium mobo

8gb ddr2 GEIL dunno the speed (but its the Dragon one :D)

hd5870 1gb (way overkill for the use but hey ^^)

CX500m psu (had to buy a new one)

some crappy 320gb HDD

Random Case.

Its fairly good but still sucks quite bad. Everything is super slow but i guess you can mostly blame that on the HDD. It is my mothers and i'll probably upgrade the cpu/mobo/ram and HDD some time in the future.

HTPC:

Pentium 4 Prescott, 3 Ghz.

3 GB DDR2

Nvidia 9600 GT or 9800 GT

300 Watt PSU that came with the case

The case is btw some nice looking aluminium case.

Some old Asus motherboard that uses DDR2

Oh yeah, not to forget my eeePC 901.

30 GB first generation SSD.

1 GB DDR2

Some asus motherboard for EeePC's

Some shitty ARM processor.

Yeah the 9800GT was a good card. Had one of those myself back in the day, and I know people who only just upgraded from them.

My main PC has an FX-6300 and a GTX 760.

My laptop has an A6-3410MX with integrated graphics at 1,6 Ghz.

8 gigabytes of RAM.

Believe it or not, it also has Dual Graphics Radeon 6520Gs at 400 MHz.

When I bought it it cost like 800 euros because Dual Graphics just came back then.

Both of my computers (specs below), my main pc does the job, but it is definitely not a gaming machine, i am planning to put a gpu some day but because i don't game that much i don't really care for now. And i got my netbook for free so i can't complain and it also does the job, although in a very slow way but it works.

Also i don't like spending a lot of money on hardware because i don't have a job and i hate asking my mom for money but slowly my computer has been upgraded, the only 2 things missing are the gpu and a new case, the latter i will hopefully get next month.

Main PC:

ASUS F1A55-M LX, AMD A6-3500, (2x2)gb Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 1600mhz, Seagate Barracuda 500gb 7200rpm,
Corsair CX430M, Cooler Master Elite 343, Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit

Netbook:

Lenovo Ideapad S10-2, Intel Atom N280, (1x1)gb DDR2 667mhz, WD Scorpio Blue 250gb 5400rpm, Zorin OS 9 Lite

When I was a kid my dad built me a computer with a single-core athlon and some very old ATI card.  Played counter strike and thats all I needed.

I've also still got my old build with an i5 760 and radeon 6870, but thats not nearly as old, just outdated.

It folds when I'm not using it, it has no set purpose though it's just a general usage project that I did for lulz.

I once had a desktop that could run TF2 at 480p low settings with 1 FPS.....    I had a bad start to PC gaming.
