Tomorow I will need to go to school again and... I sit whit a... hm... a bit dumb guy... a few days ago he asked me how much did my PC cost, I answered, he send me a few pics of MONITORS for like 150€ an I told him that my monitor cost about 150€ too... Then he said: wHy Do YoU nEeD a Pc If YoU hAvE a MoNiToR?¿?

Ok? Many people don’t know the difference between a monitor and the actual computer. Instead of ridiculing someone for not knowing something why not teach them so they know for the future?

He is probably thinking of AOE pcs.

Some people don't know the difference between monitors and computers, others don't know that you can connect more than one monitor to a PC.

AOE pc?  What's that stand for?  Always thought it was AIO PC -- all-in-one.

Thought it might have been the thing where you shift your hand, but then it would be AOP or AUI.

Unless the keyboard layout is different.

Sometimes you'll be typing and one hand will be off a row.

If you move one key row left or right for "IO" you get "OP" or "UI".

"OE" is not an option, so I don't think it was a hand-shift mistake unless the keyboard layout is different.

He's trolling you and you're letting him. 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Hmmm. Not sure about that. Some people really are that ignorant about technology.

 

My advice to the OP is to share your knowledge. You like tech and they are asking you about it, So share some of your knowledge. I personally enjoy talking tech with people who are curious about it.
