RTX 3050, 3060, 3070 Ti, 3080 Ti listed on EEC, could release soon

Aereldor

If they don't actually produce more than a prototype run of each, they can release a lot of new SKU's just to stay in the news and in the reviews of people they approve of.

3050 ~ 2070 (non s) perf for 200$

It's a 60 territory price class.

If that's true gamers that buy GPUs at $150 will have no choice but to buy a $200 card,

What's next?,eradicating the $200 price class in the next generation?,with the low end starting at $300 ?!

I hope it's not true, because if it is then a lot of people just won't buy new graphics cards.

Lol still running my GTX 960. Only upgraded from an i3 4160 to a 9100F so I could donate the 4160 build to charity. Still runs everything just fine.

60 teritory moved up, so 50 has to. (though if this keeps up, a 3070 replacement in rtx 4000 costing 200 may be a thing, which would kinda b a bit ridiclious)

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Well, it could go either way.

The GTX 750 and 1050 were $100, because they were a different chip from the x60 card of that generation. However, the GTX 950 did launch at $150, and it was a cut-down GM206, the full version of which is the GTX 960.

It looks like the RTX 3050 is kinda going the way of the 750 and 1050 as a GA107, with the full GA106 on the 3060 and the cut down GA106 on the 3050 ti.

It's also different, because the 1050 was a cut down GP107, full on the 1050 ti. And the GP108 was the 1030. If the 3050 is getting the full GA107, then the cut-down GA107 could give us a $100 GPU that's actually fast (rumor is it's called an RT 3040 or GT 3040), with the GA108 or whatever coming in later.

Rather frustrating though, got my 1060 3GB because that was the only thing under $250 CAD I could get that made sense at the time, with the 1060 6GB around $325. Seeing as the 3060ti is now effectively $700 CAD, that's more than double in 2 generations (even after taking inflation into account).

Yeah it's some shit. I got my GTX 960 for around $150 US, guessing AIB will be up to $450 for the 3060ti, which is triple. Smh. Yeah, GPu price hikes aren't even slightly consistent with inflation. Not much available on the low end, sadly. Still going strong with the good old RX 470/570, now nearing its 5th birthday.

It is very doubtful there will be a 3030. The new cards are too powerful and a 3030 would literally be able to run any game on 1080p even if not on max settings. Right now a lot of kids without much money have no choice but to buy a 60 card because that's simply where the gaming class starts but if there was an RTX 30 card people would have no need to spend a lot of money anymore.

Most likely Nvidia didn't even want to have a 50 series card but they had no idea what to expect from AMD so they went along with it. They didn't want to risk AMD taking the price performance crown and that is where the real money lies. Most consumers always buy whatever has the best price performance which is why the 1060 has been so popular. I wouldn't be surprised if they even cancelled the 3050.

They'll lose out, because loads of people just won't buy GPUs. Look at steam hardware surveys, most people just haven't upgraded from the 1060, or 480/580 and 470/570. Those were $150-250 cards where the 'replacement is $400, AIB probably coming in at $450. The 16 series is a joke. If NVidia/AMD don't put something out at that price point, then people will straight-up not upgrade at all.

Currently thinking about either a 3070 or 3080 ... wonder how in the middle a 3070 Ti will sit?

Well, a 3070 ti will be an even more cut-down GA102, so it'll be much closer to a 3080 than a 3070, and yes, be priced closer to $700 than $500 to reflect that.

I'd say around 10-15% slower than the 3080 with the same memory from what we've seen (maybe clocked slower like the 3080 Ti vs 3090). I'd say something like $599 on the price. Basically to compete with the RX 6800.
