RTX 3050, 3060, 3070 Ti, 3080 Ti listed on EEC, could release soon

UPDATE - RTX 3060, 3050, 3080 Ti listed as supported in latest AIDA64 update. Also confirms that the purported RTX 3050 will be GA107 silicon, while the 3060 will be GA106. There's also an HP OEM driver that lists the RTX 3060 as a GA106 and the RTX 3050 as a GA107. No word on the 3050 ti - it would appear that rather than give us a GA106 3050 ti, they're releasing the 3060 in 6GB and 12GB variants.

The GPU Vendor Manli listed those four cards on EEC recently, confirming some of the rumors heard earlier from 'kopite7kimi' on Twitter

The WCCFTech article contains a spreadsheed with the rumored/'leaked' specs of these GPUs. They could release sooner than expected, apparently NVidia is expected to make a hardware announcement in a month or so, which might shed more light on this.

 

Also, CK's Technology News' on twitter posted two sets of device IDs for the upcoming GPUs as well, including a Quadro T500 and an 'RTX A40'.

If the rumors are to be believed and the RTX 3050 is a $150 card with performance around that of a 2070, that's the one I'm most excited for.

That's an exciting rumor, but we'll see what they end up doing with a lack of supply of GDDR6. I'd be curious to see if they use GDDR5X for lower-end cards. Supply is such an issue right now that many would just take anything xD

I really hope the 3050 is like a 200$ 2070. But that may be wishful thinking. 

Predictions fr whole lineup (us prices)

3050 ~ 2070 (non s) perf for 200$

3060 ~ 2080 (non s) perf for 300$

3070ti ~ RTX Titan perf for 600$

3080ti ~ 6900xt perf for 900$

Rtx 3050 will be interesting. Especially if it tops out at $200 or so. I’m hoping beyond hope it’s lower. That’d be amazing

When you're short on GDDR6 modules, the only logical thing to do is to make even more SKU's of cards and disperse whatever stock of them left on all of them. LOL We'll be able to buy RTX 3080 and RX 6800XT when RTX 6080 and RX 9800XT will be a thing... XD

So they cant keep up with current production on 4 cards, so they think the next logical thing is to double the product stack? This makes little sense to me but Ill be interested to see where they all land price wise.

To the people who think these products will worsen the supply situation with higher end cards I'd like to remind you that Nvidia isn't run by idiots. They know what they are doing. They won't reduce the supply of high margin cards like the 3080 to sell low margin cards like some 3050.

Chances are they will be able to make these new cards without it affecting the supply of the other cards that have higher margins and are selling like butter. It makes absolutely no sense to assume these lower end cards will negatively effect the supply of higher end cards. 

If for example the issue is GDDR6 supply then these lower end models might use other GDDR5X. That way Nvidia's card output isn't as bottlenecked by memory supply and as a result we might see a big uptick in supply. 

 

But that's speculation bases on a rumor. Who know what will happen.

This seems dubious.

 

Like the performance tiers, OK, but I honestly think unless these have been binned to compete with AMD, the Ti parts really should just be "double ram" versions of the non-Ti model, and the 10's digit of the model should be "double that which is below" in terms of performance. like a x50/x50ti should be intended for 1080p60 , x60 for 1080p120 , x70 for 4kp60 and x80 for 4kp120 with x90 maybe being sufficient for 8kp60 but I don't think we will see 8K computer screens. It's hard enough getting 4K models that aren't rubbish.

These are probably gonna put some dangerous pressure on AMD. The 3070ti and 3080ti specifically if they are anything like previous -ti class cards would probably push AMD out of the price segments they currently reside in. Problem is this is just me fantasizing since none of any of these cards will be in stock till sometime next year maybe.

But in all seriousness, the 1030 desperately needs a replacement. something needs to exist at the $100 or $150 mark that doesn't utterly suck. And the fact that it almost overlaps with the GTX 1650 is disgusting in its own right.

The RX 570 is great but it's getting older by the year and people are still griping about efficiency. Not to mention there are indeed crappy models for the 570, but it's impossible to have bad cooling on a card that draws 35 watts.

 

Also it's the other way around, the 3200G and 3400G are a little slower than the 1030 (unless some really mad driver optimizations happened since launch) although the 4000 series APUs did actually beat it. Too bad no retail release! But either way an add-in card is still a better option than an APU in some cases, such as upgrading an old office PC to a budget gaming computer.

Won't the RX 5700 drop to around that? Even at $350 US it's still probably the best FPS per dollar in a GPU.

I could maybe see the 3060 6GB going for $300 but that seems like a big jump down from the 3060 Ti. I would expect the 3060 12GB to be about $350.

I'd say $300 is fair game. With the 3060 ti being a cut-down 3070 (both GA104), along with all the rumors so far, the 3060 will likely be the full GA106, instead of an ever more cut down GA104, with the 3050 ti being a cut down GA106. That's why I'm optimistic for the 3050, because it'll be the only GA107 GPU. 

 

It makes me quite optimistic for the cut down GA107 too. If you'll recall, with Pascal the GT 1030 ($30) was a GP 108, since the cut-down GP 107 was already a 1050. Which makes me hopeful that we'll either get an RT 3030? Or something that's a cut down GA107 for $100 or so.

 

This rumor has the GA108 as a speculative 'RT/GTX 3040' with ~1000 shader units, which could also pose it to succeed the GTX 1650, which is a TU117 chip with 1024 shader units IIRC.

Didn't stop them from announcing 3060ti which by the looks of things has sold out even faster, I would of went for that personally as well but couldn't find anything whatsoever. On the other hand managed to get 3070 only after a week of tracking stock.
