Is LTT Store not in Canada..?

Hey dudes (and dude-ettes),

 

I'd like to find something out that I didn't find an answer to in my brief search.

Okay, so I'm in Canada (Metro Vancouver actually) and LTT are (as far as I can tell) also in the area, Cloverdale I believe.

Is there a Canadian version of the store or does it all have to go through the US?  It seems strange to me to have to go through the US for something that is literally a town over, whether it would save me any money or not.

 

Appreciate the clarification.

There is only one LTT store. However, if im not mistaken, all the merch does get shipped from Canada which is why the shipping costs are higher for Americans than merch from American companies.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

I believe their main distribution partner is based in Metro Vancouver as well. It's run by one of Linus's old co-workers from NCIX. The co-worker reached out and Linus recognized him and remembered his work ethic in the NCIX warehouse. The rest is history.

I have an order that shipped a few days ago (to Europe) and it also shipped form Blaine.

But it might be that it started in Canada, then transited through the US for international orders but the tracking only starts in the US.

Im in Edmonton and did an order on the weekend and it says it shipped from Vancouver I believe. Apparently shipped on Sunday and is expected on Thursday which leads me to believe it originated in Canada. Back to the OP, no there is no separate Canada site, you just buy through the main store and do the $$ conversion yourself

They mentioned a couple of times on WAN show that while they'd love to do that since a large portion of their customers is in the USA it just could not work due to tax reasons.

Blaine is literally on the border to Vancouver. I wouldnt be surprised if they have two locations for shipping cost reasons, they are like 40 miles apart.

Probably not even, just their shipping provider drives the shipments across the border and gets them out from there...
