What do you mean by "lost"? The games are installed in the folder, so if you delete it, you can't play them until you reinstall them. You'll still own a license, so you can reinstall them. It's not going to undo your purchase. But they will not be playable until reinstalled.

I would uninstall them through Steam. Simply removing the directory is sure to confuse the Steam client, because it thinks the game is installed but the files are simply gone. Maybe it will "auto-repair" by simply re-downloading the game.

I want to delete steamapps folder and i dont know if my games will save or they will be lost?

Its simple, just delete the System 32 folder, it will do the trick if you are unsure about the steamapps folder

I take no responsibility of any harm that may occur in the above described processed, nor does our sponsor LTTSTORE.com and BETTERLTTSTORE.COM

Instead of deleting the folder, why not uninstall the games you no longer play through Steam? This folder contains the games you installed.

Games that use cloud saves should keep their saves, so when you reinstall them you can continue where you left of. Games that save their stuff locally might continue where you left of, since saves are usually in a different directory (e.g. "My Games"). But there's no guarantee.

Thats wrong, they aren't, that would mean you lose your saves every time you delete a game...

Not sure where you get the idea steam saves would be saved in "steamapps"?

(im sure there are games that do, but that has to be a huge minority as it's really the worst place for saves)

Save files are stored in the default steam Cloud Storage location, which varies depending on platform: Win: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\

Steam has essential 3 parts:

1. your licence to download and play a game

2. Your game installation (steam apps folder)

3. You data and saves

By deleting the steam apps folder you are deleting 2 and possibly (game dependant) some of 3

Lots of games keep 3 locally in your user data or app data folders and ever increasingly they are kept by the game maker (ranking, skins purchased etc) or as cloud saves (some games have this as an option in steam). You won’t then delete 3 if you delete steam apps folder.

You can only delete 1 from the steam library and it asks you multiple times if you want to.

You can also delete 2 but 1 allows you you replace it any time you like.
