I know there are a fair few of you fellow Aussies on here.

 

Do you guys know any good places to work, more specifically in country VIC?

I need a job but I don't want to work in some fast food joint or shitty retail store. Been there, done that. I just don't know where to go.

 

Any recommendations?

Sorry mate, the roos are untamable. You're likely to get a kick in the gut and with those claws, they'll rip half your intestines out. ;)

Try a tech store if you are into that kind of thing, like PCCG.
If you can drive, try to become a rep for someone like Arnotts, Cadbury or Coca Cola Amatil. It's usually a good job and I know someone who was a rep for SPC Ardmona (might be hard to get a job there now), and enjoyed it a lot.

Walk around the industrial area and give your resume (cold canvasing) directly to the manager and state your intent to find a job.

Some take it, some refer you to another business they use for hiring.

 

But walking into some places can get you a job as easily as searching online.
