MSI X570-A-PRO confusion.

Ok this is my sad story. Some months ago I decided to upgrade my system and I moved over to the AMD side like many others. I found this amazing offer back then for an MSI-570-A-PRO (I bought it 110-115 Euros) and an AMD Ryzen 7 3700x.

The rest of the specs are:

 

1. Corsair TX750M 80 Plus Gold

2. 2 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance 3200

3. Palit NVIDIA RTX 2070

4. Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler

5. The case has 2 x 140mm fans on top and 2 x 120mm on the back as exhaust fans

6. 4 x 120mm fans front and 3 x 120mm fans down to push air in the case

 

So why am I writing this? For the first time in my life I did not do an extensive research in terms of motherboard, I trust MSI and I usually buy their products and for this reason I bought the afformentioned mobo without cross-referencing its capacity. I am not a hardcore gamer or an OC-believer (i tend to not over-clock my system) but I recently read that this particular mobo's VRMs are terrible. Not just terrible according to public opinion it is complete trash. At the same time I checked other reviews that say that the mobo is decent and there is a bit of over-reaction with some of the posts. 

 

I realize that i made a bad choice but I would like to know how bad is it. I haven't experienced any thermal throttling while gaming and I have played some demanding games. So my question after all this prologue is :

 

"How bad exactly is my motherboard?" and "Do I need to change it ASAP or I will be good with it for the time being?"

you can overclock a  3700x on it. you can barely run a 3900x at stock.

so if you keep yourself to 6-8 cores, 65W cpus, you'll be fine and you can even overclock.

if you want to jump to 12-16 cores or 95W+ cpus, you'll have to upgrade.

It's fine until you put a Ryzen 9 on it, which is not expected because this board launched at $150.

It'll be fine for an 8-core.

For a 3900X and up, you'll want some direct airflow onto those VRMs.

First of all thank you all for your fast replies and just to clarify. So for this particular setup my motherboard is fine right? I do not plan to go to a 3900x anytime soon, I just upgraded couple of months ago.

 

Regarding airflow as you can see my case is well ventilated and there are already many fans pointing towards the pre-mentioned VRMs I just got terrified by some reviews I never expected an MSI product to be that bad.

Don't look at a brand for quality 

Look at the particular product.

For the most part yes.

It can handle an 8 core and below just fine.

I know that already but sadly I did not follow my own advice this time. I show the offer and I got "tricked" by it bought it fast and here we are :/...
