Is there any good 700w psus for cheap.

Edit: Nevermind, I was able to find a good 700w psu at my nearby pc shop. Copped it for 50 bucks

So, I need to buy a new PSU because my old one is like 8 years old and it's starting to make gpus lose signal.

I found one on ebuyer for 40 quid and it's got decent specs. It's 700w, 80+, and looks good quality. I just need some help on whether or not it works on my pc (specs listed below.)

If it doesn't, which ones would you recommend (preferably under 75)

PC Specifications:

  • Asrock z77 pro3
  • Intel core i5-3470
  • Ezcool ambience 700w psu
  • Gtx 970 (maybe broken) or rx 580
  • 1TB Barracuda 7200.12 HDD
  • Unknown atx case (photos attached)

Is th3 ezcool this one:

And is that your current psu, or your proposed "new" psu?

would we be able to know exactly what PSU you are looking at? As long as it has all the power cables you need then it sounds good. Also how old is the "new" PSU?

How in the world did you get to this conclusion?

The Formula 450W is an actually decent PSU.

It looks good, it sounds good, and it has cables!!!

"What could go wrong?" 😂😂😂

(Yeah, i twisted some things there, just for amusement purposses :))

Seriously, i wonder if its then ezcool 700w i linked ("Pentium 4" and i suspect is really a 450ish w unit on 12v rails, not to mention a 100 proverbial years old). Hope for OP that that is the old unit (cant imagine anyone seriously selling THAT in 2020).

If you want a fully-modular PSU, the Kolink Enclave G-FM 500w is £60 at Currys PC World. Otherwise, I would go with @seon123's suggestion, and get the BitFenix Formula Gold 450w.
