Could be better IMO, but it's still nice to look at i think

looks good! i see you went for the same "ram the cables in the huge void at the back" method that i went for ha!

Thanks :)

That's after tidying it up, but if i cable managed it when i put the thing together, it would be far better than what i've got it to now

Looking for a job

I'll do that when I get brave enough to remove the back cover again lol. I actually had to remove some zip ties just to get it to lay flat enough. Though a build log might be in the future, Im thinking about modding my HAF 912 and sticking the gaming rig in it and using my emulator PC in the Corsair case.

No. I do not think I am that skilled. Will buy just already sleeved cables and re-do it.

They are expensive tho.

Here's mine, nothing special

note: the sata data cable that goes straight over was too short for the route i wanted it, so i'll buy a longer one.

That is very neat :)

You using all those drive bays that are blocking the front fan?

Almost all of them, 1 is still empty. That is my intake and "HDD cooler" fan there is enough space between the drives and the airflow is great so there is nothing I worry about.

Well noone of my extended family even knows anything about tech, one of my cousins pretends she understands these things but she not able to build her own PC and buys crappy overpriced pre-built systems, probably doesn't even know what the purpose of a graphics card is (she's proud she has 16GB of RAM which she never actually uses...).

That reminds me of my cousins. Proud of their Alienwares, Xbox's, and PS4s. They play games, but have never even looked inside a PC. I cant afford Alienware, but I don't even think id buy one if I could.

i had a friend that did the same thing. i love taking things apart, each their own.

Both of your cases look neat and tidy @Nosfy and @Oskar94a

Cable management is for airflow not just looks.

Pretty much everyone should know that by now.

Spring cleaning! I got everything dusted as well as I could and tore EVERY cable out to try and get better cable management. The side panel no longer pops off and it isn't NEARLY as messy as before, but I had to route the cables for my 480 out the side since I couldn't get the cables for it and my 7950 to fit under the shroud if I had them both coming out through the shroud. :(

The two fan wires at the top are for the "rendering" fans so that my 212 EVO gets more air when I render. I have to get a splitter for them, so they're just gonna hang out for a while.

  • 4 weeks later...

It's a little neater. I'm trying to decide whether or not to have my mom get me a Seidon 120V or GTA V (on the DVDs). Not sure if the 120V will be as cool while being quieter.
