Post Your Cable Management?

ciprian97pop

It blows my mind that I made this thread well over a year ago now. That long and I still haven't posted MY cable management. Hopefully tomorrow I will put an end to that. :)

As far as cable management, every cable on my desk is pinned to the back edging of my desk, so literally no cable is visible from the front. The power adapter is also hidden.

I hate cables showing.

I'm very much the same, all my monitor cables are tied to the back of my desk.

Here's my cable management (And no, I don't plan on showing the cable "management" in the back lol, unless I switch to a cablemods cable kit for my PSU.

Any recommendations for getting the inside a bit more color optimized? It feels like theres just currently an odd mix between blue white and black. I'm thinking a switch away from the white cables PSU / mobo / cpu cables is in order, and maybe ordering a cablemods black/blue cable kit would be a good idea.

Thoughts?

I recently installed an SSD (finally) so I dusted off the internals, re-built and re-cable managed the system.

Pretty happy  with the back, looks kinda messy but everything is sorted.

Guess I have locations I need to keep up on more. :P

Not to get off topic, but Fort Riley,Kansas is right outside of Manhattan, Kansas. It is were most the US soldiers are stationed when they are transferred to a military base in Kansas. :)

No Riley's population is quite small compared to other installations. Just a bad post/units. Surrounding area isn't the worse I've seen. Still sucks to be here.

Nope, it's Kansas, just think of nothing and that is Kansas. There literally is nothing to do in Kansas except Strip clubs, and bars. Manhattan is were K-state university is, so if you are a college kid, it might be heaven, but for people that are not much for partying, Kansas can be a very boring place to live, Just mostly fields is all the scenery you ever see if you do not live in one of the cities.

Thanks C:.

I used the molex to 6 pin adapter to help clean up the wires a little since the two 6pins for the PSU are ugly and hard to manage.

I don't quite see how the motherboard looks bad, it looks quite nice.

I see, I'll have to fix mine up a bit more. I just installed the H100i about a day or so ago. I've been busy actually overclocking and testing things out more than fixing up the cables lol.

Yes indeed it is. A Creative Soundblaster Z to be specific, with an absolutely horrid Plasti-Dip paint job that I did in 20 minutes.

I have a Define mini and a none modular PSU and I think I did nicely:-)

Back (yes you see the 3-fan controller duct taped to the optical bays):

View through window, though it is a little dimmer IRL:

I would like to change the Noctua out for a black/white fan and perhaps sleeve my own costum extension (if that is even possible) as there is not enough room in the back for long extensions. And buy some black or white RAM coolers.
