Hennessey Venom gt hits record 270.49 MPH(435.31 KM/H)

As of February 14th 2014 the Hennessy venom gt is the worlds fastest 2 seat sports car. 270 miles per hour is quite a substantial number for a car that you can still drive on the street. The car is just simply rediculous. And its cheaper than the Bugatti Veryron. I'll let the video speak for itself.

Technically the Venom GT is a Lotus Exige chassie , that is a British car, americans have good engines, and their modified cars are great, They look cheap, but are very good!

The veyron is a comfortable, luxury car. This is a plastic toy in comparison.

I was expecting the world to look like a blur through that camera for some reason, but it looked pretty normal. Maybe one day we will all be driving(well, probably riding as computers control the car) at these sorts of speeds

Actually, on Top Gear, I believe they got the Veyron to around 460kph. I think I might be wrong though...
