Explain Your Username

[EpicAdom]

Before I had the username EpicAdom I used the username EpicWin. 

I just like the word "Epic".

"Adom" came from a Minecraft splash. My first name is Adam and "Adom" became one of my nicknames.

I just put "Epic" and "Adom" together.

I was playing Counter Strike with my cousins around 5-6 years ago and can't decide a name so randomly went with names such as "I'm a boat" then a car, bike, table, etc. So I ended up using Random Object since it pretty much covers all the past ones

Well, I am quite into music listening and also kind of the talkative person, so "Speaker" and "Speak" wasn't that long of a shot. Usually only use this one for forums and the internetz, the game tag was quite unfortunate. As a kid I was quite proud of 'FragUnlimited' - until it grew to me that it was quite easy to make fun of by removing the 'r'....

Eons ago a friend invited me to check out Delphi forums (one in particular).  It turned out I needed to make an account before I could view them.  It was late, I was tired, and lacking in inspiration I glanced around the room and my eyes landed on the calender.  It was the month of "October".  I made an account with that as my user name...  thinking it would be just a quick one time thing... and ended up staying a member for a few years.  The name "October" stuck and I started using it everywhere.  After awhile I finally started finding that other people were using it too (believe it or not) and ended up adopting the Russian spelling instead...  "октябрь", or loosely translated to English, "Oktyabr"

Well this seems like a good place. Long time watcher first time on the forums.

 

The username is actually a shortened form of Grim's Ace. Which i got from shortening my older name of "acegrimreaper." That is derived from my original name which was "acesking2008" until I found out that there was a mobster in the Chicago area going by the same name (was watching an episode of gangland when I was 10 or so). So the username looking like "Grimace" was completely unintentional when I first came up with the name "Grimsace".
